4. Program of the festival

4.1. The main program of the festival includes a competitive program and a business program.

Festival takes place April 12–18, 2019.

 

4.2. To participate in the festival, you must register on the portal http://kp.nsuada.ru, select a competition and fill out a form. Applications are completed in Russian and English. Applications for participation are accepted from December 1, 2018 until March 25, 2019.

 

4.3. The competitive program of the festival includes:

4.3.1. Costume design contest «Fashion-prospect».

Category C – students.

«Sketches and photo shoot of completed collections» - distance

Category PProfessional designers.

Nomination:

The number of items in the collection: the collection must contain 3-5 models. A group of co-authors cannot be more than 3 people.

4.3.2. Competition of young costume designers «Fashion-prospect. Junior»

Category D - Schoolchildren.

Nominations:

The number of items in the collection: in category D, novice designers can present 1-3 models or 5 and more models from the creative team.

4.3.3. Accessories and shoes design contest «AS (Accessories & Shoes)»

Number of items in the collection: the collection should contain 3-7 models. The number of collections from one author or a group of authors is not limited. A group of co-authors cannot be not more than 3 people.

4.3.5. Architectural space design contest

Competitive works’ requirements: 60x80 cm, 60x160 cm, 300 dpi, brief annotation.

4.3.6. Industrial design contest “Start”

 

Contest coordinator: candidate of technical science, Associate Professor of Industrial Design, «Industrial Design » competence manager of " WorldSkills Russia Taube Marika Vladimirovna

Type of participation: distance/onsite

 

Entrants:

Category C – students and young people under 28

Nominations:

The projects must have been done within a year before May 2018. The projects can be entrants’ own assignment or an academic/course work

 

Results’ presentation form:

A brief annotation in the submission: 1-2 pages of typewritten text, .doc, Times New Roman, 14. The name of the file must contain the author’s surname. The text has to be written in both English and Russian.

Visualization: posters must not be smaller than 600x800, 300 dpi, JPEG. The poster must include: a general view of the object and a couple of extra drawings, implementation of the object in the environment and/or ways of communication with human, name of the project, name of the author. The text has to be written in both English and Russian.

4.3.7. Design Competition "Inclusive"

Competition Coordinator: Director of the information and exhibition center NSUADA Goncharova Natalia Galievna.

Type of participation: onsite/distance

Entrants: students and professional designers working in the universal or inclusive design, on clothing, shoes and accessories for people with non-standard needs, including people with a special body structure.

In the modern development of technologies, inclusive (that is, convenient for many) design develops in different directions, including the use of modern innovative developments.

As part of the business program of the competition days, participants will have an opportunity to present their project as a start-up project to invited experts and businessmen, including foreign ones, who may be interested in cooperation with the authors for the further development of the invention.

The nomination divides participants into several groups:

4.3.8. Competition design textiles "ART Textiles".

Competition Coordinator: Head of the Costume Design and Fashion Industry Department Dolmatova Evgenia Petrovna

Type of participation: distance

Entrants:

Category C - students, young designers.

Nominations:

Art-textile is an amazing type of creativity that is able to combine all types of needlework into a single whole, in order to create a new unique artistic material with its own image, style and mood.

 

Presentation form: presentation in PDF format, the first slide - the author’s full name and project, the second (or several) - project’s sketches with explanations, the third (or several) - photos of real works (new material or product).

In the "New material" nomination it is possible to provide 2-3 works with a size of at least 30x50 cm. In the nomination "creative garment" - at least 1 garment made of new material

4.4. The business program of the festival includes lectures, seminars, master classes with Russian and foreign experts. Business program events can be visited in person at NSUADA and online on the portal http://kp.nsuada.ru. Some of the events of the business program will be held on commercial terms.

The organizer will publish the schedule of events for the festival’s business program on the festival portal http://kp.nsuada.ru no later than April 1, 2019.

4.5. All entries will be presented at an interactive exhibition in the exhibition halls of NSUADA.

4.6. As part of the festival, short-term refresher courses on the additional educational program “Design as a strategic goal of modern cultural policy” will be held by the Faculty of Additional Professional Education (FAPE) of NSUADA for the representatives of educational and creative organizations, employees of cultural institutions and fashion industry. The organizer will publish the final program of training courses on the festival portal http://kp.nsuada.ru no later than February 1, 2019.

6. Awarding

6.1. All participants receive certificates of participation. Persons qualified for the final of the competition receive certificates of the finalists . Laureates and winners of the first, second and third degrees of the festival are awarded with diplomas. Winners are determined by scoring points. Winners in each nomination receive diplomas of winners and prizes from competition partners.

6.2. The heads of authors' works of students, undergraduates and graduate students (if available) are awarded with letters of thanks.
